The Japan Rail (JR) Pass is a ticket that allows pass holders unlimited rides on a majority of Japanese railways, including Shinkansen lines, and local JR buses within a specified duration of time. This multi-usage pass covers long distance travel from Tokyo to Osaka to Kyoto, but you can travel comfortably in an Ordinary Car or in a Green Car, which is the equivalent of business class.
