On 1 July 2024, the new IP Code will enter into force. The mandatory Code is intended to create the conditions for safe carriage of Industrial Personnel on ships and their safety during personnel transfer operations between the ship and offshore installations. Read more and access IMCA support here > https://imca.me/Oj0LzJmCommenting on the approaching deadline,Margaret Fitzgerald, Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs, IMCA said: “The new Mandatory IP Code will enter into force in only a few weeks’ time and Member companies will need to understand its potential impact on their projects and ways of working. We’d urge all Members to make themselves aware of changes in the first instance, then review their own approaches to working at sea to ensure they are compliant with the new Code.”
